Words I never expected to say
Shutting down Teen Vogue is a bad thing.

Thanx to Metafilter

Okay then; do you suppose the owners might reconsider that decision if a lot of people wrote to them to say they would buy a subscription to the print edition of Teen Vogue for their local public or school library, youth group, rec center, church, coffeehouse or whatever?

I'll do that right now; I'd be happy to buy a subscription for the Boiler Room for Yule.

I read a Teen Vogue article someone forwarded and it kind of blew my mind.

Reading Jusino's article, it would seem to me that screwing your contributors is a bigger fault -- and a bigger sign the business is unsustainable -- than ending your print edition.

(Print always does some things that online doesn't, but I really think this level of online access *has* to be available to every child. They need to have some kind of tablet or netbook or Chromebook, where they could put things to read if they don't have internet at home.)
