A picture is worth 1000 words
Yesterday I linked to George R.R. Martin’s lj post about how he will be playing a modest role in the TV adaptation of Nnedi Okorafor’s Who Fears Death. VICE, in an inadvertent satire of cultural appropriation, made it a story about him, with a picture of the book cover with her name cut off. It’s simply an “African sci-fi novel” (by someone who was born in dark, exotic Cincinnati).
