Rand Paul, who is famous for cross-dressing as a libertarian, says it wouldn’t be “useful” to distrust the state in the Flynn case. He also voted to confirm Jefferson Beauregard Sessions, leading supporter of mass incarceration and the war on some drugs.

Is there a special pronoun for libertarians now?

How about for traitors?

I've really had my mind blown by the number of self-described libertarians who have ended up pro-Trump. Not all libertarians, but... what the hell, people.

I have to conclude a significant number of libertarians don't come to that position by these ideas about non-aggression or market optimality or any of that -- they come to it by a desire to be anti-PC and piss people off. Libertarianism serves that, Trumpism serves too. Which, actually... makes a lot of sense retrospectively, come to think of it.

Basically, the "Libertarian Macho Flash" phenomenon can just as well be "Trump Macho Flash".
