It couldn’t happen to nicer guys
Melania Trump sues Daily Fail for claiming she had a more honorable business career than her husband.

Yeah, they're jerks. People need to lay off Melania; she hasn't done a damn thing wrong. She probably never worked for an escort agency because she never had to; models as beautiful as she have no trouble finding wealthy and generous boyfriends. Obviously she's a trophy wife; quite possibly an abused one - no doubt there's a pre-nup that says she gets nothing if she leaves, and she has her boy to think of, so she may very well spend every night praying that her husband has a fatal aneurism in the middle of one of his tantrums.

If so, my prayers with hers, though probably not to the same deity. Still, who can say? She keeps her own counsel, that one. She'd have to, to survive all these years with that odious man.

I have to wonder how many of Trump's base would even be able to afford the 'Melania' line of luxury products if it existed? Notice how quickly Ivanka's brand tanked when young urban women stopped buying it: the ladies who need an office- or classroom-appropriate wardrobe are the very ones out marching in silly pink hats.

A lot of Trump's base is at least comfortably middle class.

True, but the comfortably middle-class mostly don't buy 'designer' cosmetics, especially in rural areas where the stores mostly don't carry such. I'd have to drive for two hours (to the nearest mall) to find Lancome or Dior products.

Of course, maybe the 'Melania' line wouldn't be all that high-end, so shoppers would be able to find it at Walgreens and Rite-Aid. The irony would be that Melania herself probably wouldn't dream of putting such cheap stuff on her expensive skin.
