* Amazon's review system is broken

* MacKeeper isn’t a keeper.

* There may be an intelligent question that includes the word “millennials,” but “Why aren't millennials buying diamonds?” isn’t it.

re MacKeeper: Dear god, Mac users are so clueless and unsavvy that they fall for early-1990s scareware?

Also, "at URLs that look like official Apple URLs" NO THEY FUCKING WELL DO NOT. Look at the fucking URL they're warning people "looks like an official Apple URL" about, it's not even a GOOD obfuscation. It's "com-store.me". Does com-store.me look like apple.com? No. Is it HTTPS? No, but the Mac has hidden the security setting from the user because they think users don't need to know the difference between secure and insecure, between signed and unsigned, between trusted and untrusted. BUT SERIOUSLY, "com-store.me" is NOT FUCKING APPLE.COM.

That's not even a GOOD obfuscation. Good obfuscation would be store.apple.com/56436526@192.168.1.1/item/storeID/whatever.

Argh. I'm almost at the point where I think internet licenses should be like driver's licenses, because seriously that's "there are three red lights in a row WHY ARE YOU DRIVING THROUGH THEM WHILE ACCELERATING AND SWERVING" levels of bad.
