Hey, now.

I'm doing a UT Austin MOOC that's jolly interesting at the moment. Though to be fair, I ditched another one because although I was expecting it to be on the simplistic side for me (it's an undergraduate course on using mathematical ideas to illuminate broader problem solving strategies), it turned out to be on the simplistic side for my teenagers.

Edit: I wonder if universities realise just how much of their ethos, approach, and, critically, academic standards, leak out through their MOOCs? I don't suppose there was any way I could have known so much about the differences between Harvard and MIT before. Or, indeed, Harvard and MIT and the (shall-be-nameless) universities whose MOOCs have been not so good.
