A quibble: That's not "the Confederate flag". It is a flag that was briefly used by one part of the Slaver Army during the Slaver's Treason, but it isn't even the flag the Slave States claimed as the one for their union.

Instead, after the Slaver's Rebellion was crushed, racist people who favoured the only principle that the Slave States stood for (racism) started to use that flag as a very thinly coded symbol for racism, while they attempted to genocidally eliminate all the former slaves.

It's not "the Confederate flag". It's the Klan flag. And the only difference between the Slave States of the Slaver's Rebellion and Nazi Germany is that the Slavers lost the war *before* attempting to implement their genocide, whereas the Nazis started while they still had power.

I should have known that merely symbolizing a slave owners' war against our country wasn't enough for them.

(I don't have a lot of patience for Confederacy apologetics.)
