My enemy's enemy
I think I would like Bill de Blasio even if it weren't for his enemies, but they certainly help. Mayor Bloomberg should drink a 32-oz bottle of piss for calling de Blasio's family picture "racist," and now the NY Times is ain't-it-awfuling about how he hung out with people who talk about "social justice." Salon kicks the Times' ass around the block, as it deserves.

As he seeks to become the next mayor of New York City, Mr. de Blasio, the city’s public advocate, has spoken only occasionally about his time as a fresh-faced idealist who opposed foreign wars, missile defense systems and apartheid in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

From this, I infer that the Times favors foreign wars, missile defense systems and apartheid.
