The PUA world applies algorithms, testing and feedback, and gamification to human interaction, turning women into not just sexual objects but essentially treating that cisgendered biological configuration as a Turing-complete machine in which specifying the right sequence of inputs results in access to specific ports and protocols.

One of the best analyses of PUA culture that I've seen. There's a degree to which these guys seem to treat dating like a video game and it really strikes me that we're dealing with low-empathy nerds who are trying to "solve dating" (or sex) but they lack the empathy to understand that there's nothing to "solve" because human relationships are not a game or a puzzle.

Fortunately, having known actual PUAs, they're not as successful as they think they are. The women they're picking up in nightclubs would've gone home with *someone*.
