hmm. There's an alemannisch Wikipedia (just as there's a Lower-Saxon Dutch version, etc.), yet though Bavaria/Bayern is part of the Alemannic dialect-group, the Bavarians have a Wikipedia of their own.

(As the daughter of a Swabian--the other major chunk of the Alemannic group in modern-day Germany, as opposed to the parts in Alsace, Switzerland, and elsewhere--I find this exceedingly perverse.)

...are they legal in the U.S.? And if so, how much for half a pound?
