Truth be told, I kinda wish the "Islamofascist" variety received the same (lack of) press. Terrorism loses its power to terrify (and, thus, influence) the general public if no one hears about it.

There was a Dean Ing, "Very Proper Charlies", that advocated a similar lack of newsworthiness assigned to terrorist acts.

I thought it was going to be about anti abortion terrorists before clicking the link. I also expected it to mention the anthrax letters mailed before 9/11. Salon had an article about those, back in the day, that calmly pointed out that if the FBI had reacted to the anthrax letters mailed to abortion clinics as terrorist threats, they'd have had the experience to deal productively with the letters mailed to congress.
