I don't understand what's weird about Little Canada. Can someone explain that to me? We have much weirder names here in MN than Little Canada.

not what it says on the tin
"Pie Town" is not weirder than Truth or Consequences," "Smartt" loses out to "Nameless," and "Big Bottom" may amuse the twelve-year-olds, but isn't as weird a name for a town as "Federal Way."

Since I'm doing this entirely from memory and random knowledge, there may well be weirder town names in Washington than Federal Way or Black Diamond: those are just the oddest names in King County.

Ding Dong (Texas) is a fair choice, but I still prefer Cut and Shoot.

(Friendslist skimming...)

Frankenstein, Missouri is indeed striking, and presumably the inhabitants are tired of hearing it pronounced "Fronkenshteen," but Peculiar, Missouri, should be noted, obvious though it is. They even have a new overpass crossing the interstate, with PECULIAR proudly written on it in large letters.

I agree that Truth or Consequences a much better candidate for odd name, and I cannot believe Moosup is the oddest name in Connecticut. The writer cannot have gone down to the village level, because there's got to be something better.

satan's kingdom isn't really a town (MA). Why not Braintree or Athol.
